Ingredients

1 cup (200g) Chicken, boiled and shredded
2 cups (500ml) Water
1/2 cup (65ml) Cooking Oil
2 pcs. (120g) Tokwa, cubed
1 Tbsp. (12g) Ginger, sliced
1 /4 cup (35g) Onion, minced
1 Tbsp. (12g) Garlic, minced
1 cup (170g) Rice
1/2 tsp. (1g) Ground Black Pepper
2 tsps. (10g) Fish Sauce
1 pack (8g) CHICKENSAVOR® All-in-One Seasoning mix

Rice is a good Carbohydrate source to supply the body’s need for energy.

Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 30 minutes

Procedure

  1. BOIL AND SHRED. In a pot, pour water and add the chicken. Let it boil until the chicken becomes tender. Let the chicken cool enough to shred. Set aside both meat and stock.
  2. FRY. In a hot pan, pour oil fry the tokwa until golden brown. Drain on a strainer and set aside.
  3. SAUTÉ. In a hot pan, sauté ginger, onion, garlic and shredded chicken.
  4. BOIL. Add the rice and chicken stock. Cover the pot and let the rice be cooked. Add ground black pepper. Stir occasionally.
  5. SEASON. Add fish sauce and CHICKENSAVOR®, and mix well.
  6. SERVE. Transfer into a serving bowl, serve and enjoy.

Makes 10 servings
Serving size: 1 1/2 cups (120g)

Cooking Tips

Be sure to stir the rice up to the bottom to avoid some portions being burned or scorched.
