Start of Operation April 2028, Total Capital Investment of Approximately PHP 9.1B
Makati City, Philippines – August 28, 2025 – Ajinomoto Philippines Corporation (APC), will construct a new factory in TARI Estate, a development under the Aboitiz InfraCapital Economic Estates, located in Central Luzon, Philippines. The total capital investment for the project is approximately PHP 9.1 billion pesos. Construction is scheduled to begin in May 2026, with operations expected to commence by April 2028. The new factory will produce Flavored Seasoning, Cooking Sauces and Breading mixes such as AJI-GINISA®, Crispy Fry®, and Sarsaya®, etc.
APC has supported the Philippine food culture for over 60 years, during which time it has taken root as a part of this culture through its contribution to the country’s food industry. This decision to build a new factory aims to ensure stable production in anticipation of continued robust growth in the Philippine economy. This growth is expected to be driven by population increases, strong infrastructure investments, and steady domestic demand, with these positive economic trends likely to continue in the coming years. The new factory is also set to create numerous job opportunities for Filipinos, reinforcing APC’s commitment to supporting local communities and driving innovation in the Philippine food industry.
